My experience as Student Volunteer at ECSCW2017

This year I went back  to C3RI at Sheffield Hallam University for another three months of visiting as PhD student. This year my main goal was to write at least 50% of my PhD thesis, but while I was there I dedicated also to other activities. At the end of august, ECSCW2017 took place at SHU. In the following blog post I wrote with two other SVs you can find my main impressions from this experience: Enjoy the reading 🙂

Article on UNITN newsletter

The University of Trento published an article about my PhD project entitled “WEARABLE DEVICE PER LO SPORT – Un ricerca di dottorato sull’Interazione Persona-Macchina”.

Have a look! (unfortunately, it is only in Italian 😦 ):

Today I took part in the  Poster Session of the ICTdays event at the University of Trento. This year the poster session was organized as PhD Competition and there were 4 prizes. I won two of them with my poster! The Vodafone Italia and the Trentino Sviluppo prize for the Best Innovation demo/poster. I am glad to see that my research is appreciated also by companies 🙂

I’ll be Visiting PhD Student at the Sheffield Hallam University from the 1st August to the 31 October 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Luigina Ciolfi. Yey! 😉
